Wedding Questions, Answers & Tips

Q: What should be my criteria for finding a photographer?
A: It is important to choose someone you like and with whom you are completely
at ease. You will be spending most of your wedding day with them, your
relationship with the photographer will come through in the images.

Q: What about style, is that not more important?
A: You need both, you need to like the photographer and their work. Our style is
more of a documentary style of wedding photography, to get this style of imaging
we need our couples to interact with us in a relaxed atmosphere.

Q: Will you be the photographer for our wedding?
A: I do most of the wedding photography, I have two other associate
photographers that do weddings for my studio. Both are full-time professional
photographers who operate their own studios. You are told on the initial query
who would be taking your wedding photographs. You will see the work of
the photographer and of course meet with them if it is not myself.

Q: What type of equipment do you use?
A: We use both professional digital, and film cameras. Our studio workflow is
digital, whether we shoot digital or film, the end result is the same when we have
prints made or design our albums.

Q: How do we book you?
A: Call the studio and confirm availability, a deposit will reserve the day for you,
NO DATE IS EVER HELD WITHOUT A DEPOSIT. We will e-mail you our Wedding
Contract PDF which you can complete and fax to the studio, or a Contract can be
faxed to you for completion. We will then book a consultation with you to go over
all your event details. A minimum $500 deposit is required.

Q: What one piece of advice would you give us when choosing a photographer?
A: Selecting a professional wedding photographer is not an everyday event, nor
is your wedding. For most people, how much it costs and what's included is the
biggest issue when selecting their wedding photographer. If your wedding
photographs and album make you happy, you will never regret your investment,
whatever the dollar cost. You are purchasing items that will be with you for the
rest of your lives, and for generations to come. Your photographs will be
unforgettable memories of your special day.
